The University of Sopron (Hungary) has joined the iScanner Educational Program. The collaboration agreement between the university and BP Mobile (publisher of iScanner) was signed in May 2025.
Participation in the iScanner Educational Program allows the university to reduce paper consumption and digitize educational materials for students and educators. The iScanner team provides participating universities with free access to all app features and cloud storage.
The University of Sopron, specializing in forestry and the wood industry, highly appreciates the opportunity to join the program and use iScanner, as the institution promotes sustainability principles and implements eco-conscious solutions, including reduced paper use.
Thanks to this collaboration, more than 3,000 students and university employees can receive a promo code for the PRO version of iScanner, which includes 10 GB of cloud storage, free of charge from May 2025 to June 2026. iScanner enables users to scan documents in high resolution (300 DPI), convert files into multiple formats, edit and sign PDFs, ask AI to summarize or refine any text, and more.
The app helps students and university staff scan documents on the go, work from any location, and access files on each device. Users can rely on iScanner whenever they need to capture notes, scan multiple book pages, or digitize handwritten notes on whiteboards. Thanks to AI algorithms, they can now enhance their documents by removing distortions such as fingerprints and creases, which might previously have made a scan unusable.
