It contains numerous articles, including detailed descriptions of functionalities of iScanner Apps, tutorials, answers to FAQ regarding iScanner Apps, blog with useful notes and materials. The Website also provides a cloud storage service that allows users to save, store, manage and work with documents and files through a personal account created on the Website or via one of iScanner Apps (hereinafter, “iScanner account”).
When we refer to personal data (or personal information) we mean any information of any kind relating to a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to such data. It is a natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social status.

We will not be able to respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot: (i) verify your identity or authority to make the request; or (ii) confirm that the personal information relates to you. We may ask you for additional information or documents to verify your identity. We may also carry out checks, including with third party identity verification services, to verify your identity before taking any action with your personal information. This is regarded as a safeguard measure to prevent disclosure of your personal information under a fake or scum request.

We will keep it for the adequate term reasonably needed for the purpose described above and delete after the purpose is fulfilled.
We try to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. Please note that we are only required to respond to two requests per customer each year.
Nothing in the way we deal with your request shall be interpreted as discrimination, which means that we will not set up different pricing or products, or different level or quality of services for you, if you choose to exercise your rights. However, in some circumstances, we may not be able to provide services if you choose to delete your personal information from our records.

There are several categories of information that may be processed when you access, use and/or interact with the Website.
We may process the following categories of information if you have an active iScanner account and you access, use such iScanner account on the Website. The processing of such information is necessary for the adequate performance of the contract between you and us. Without such information it is impossible to provide the complete functionality of the Website and perform a full scope of services.
iScanner account credentials. If you choose to use our cloud storage service you’ll need to create an iScanner account (via the Website or via one of iScanner Apps). When you create your iScanner account on the Website you’ll need to set up account credentials, i. e. login (email address) and password, and go through a verification process. To create an iScanner account on the Website, you can also tap “Continue with Apple” or “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Facebook” button available on the Website. In this case the information related to your Apple ID/Google account credentials/Facebook account credentials shall be used to sign in to your iScanner account.
You are allowed to create an iScanner account if you have reached the age of majority or legal age in your jurisdiction. If you have not reached the age of majority or legal age in your jurisdiction and you are between the ages of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) years the creation and use of an iScanner account may be carried out only with the relevant consent and under the supervision of the holder of parental responsibility for you. It is prohibited to create an iScanner account if you have not reached the age of thirteen (13).
Note that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password used for logging in to your iScanner account. You are also responsible for all activities that occur under your iScanner account. You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any damages and/or losses that may occur as a result of someone else using your credentials to access your iScanner account (and/or data, files associated with your iScanner account) without your knowledge and express consent. You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your iScanner account credentials, any other breach of security relating to your iScanner account or if you suspect any unauthorized access and/or breach of security.
Files and documents stored and associated with your iScanner account. If you have an active iScanner account you’ll be able to store and manage scanned files and documents you received using our iScanner App(s) and/or other files you choose to upload (hereinafter, ”user files”). All user files are stored using the server of our cloud storage provider. User files associated with your iScanner account will be synchronized on any device you might use for accessing such iScanner account (regardless of how you access your iScanner account: through the Website or through one of our iScanner Apps). Note that if you choose the option “Delete Account” in the Settings of the Website or one of our iScanner Apps, all user files associated with your iScanner account will be deleted and you’ll no longer have an opportunity to restore them. You may also choose to delete specific user files associated with your iScanner account, in this case you also will not be able to restore such files.
Information you may provide us via our support channels and contact forms (requests sent to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org or via “Contact us” form or via special form for educators available on the Website). We may collect, store and process personal information that you submit via “Contact us” form or special form for educators available on the Website or when you send us a request to the email address email@example.com. In this case the following categories of information may be voluntarily provided by you: name, email address, the text of your message, files you choose to attach to your request (if this option is available). We use all this information solely for the purpose of considering and responding effectively to your requests (if necessary).
Information that is processed automatically
When you access, use and/or interact with the Website, some information about your device and your user behavior may be processed automatically. This information is generally non-personal, i.e. it does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual, and we may access it only in aggregated form. We process this information on the ground of our legitimate interest for improving the Website and giving our users the best experience.

If you have an active iScanner account we may use the information about your email address to send you communications (newsletters) regarding special subscription offers, new features and functionalities and other news related to iScanner Apps and/or the Website on the grounds of our legitimate interests. Sending you newsletters will allow you to stay up to date and receive the latest news about iScanner Apps and the Website, including about the best price offers. You may unsubscribe, opt-out of receiving newsletters to your email address at any time by using the resignation link provided in each email you receive from us. Your unsubscribe request shall be honored within a reasonable period of time.
Our mission is to constantly improve the Website and provide you with better user experiences. As part of this mission, we use your information for the following purposes:
