Today, we rely on mobile apps for our daily needs so much that almost every aspect of our lives can be tracked and logged—from pictures we take to songs we like, from online purchases to documents we create, from food delivery to the number of steps we make daily. However, data processing by mobile apps can pose a serious threat to our security and privacy. This is why we need to be exceptionally careful with whom we entrust our data to. In this blog post, we’d like to answer the most frequently asked questions about data protection in iScanner to give you a clear picture.
No one but you. Neither iScanner nor any third parties can access the files you store in the app, unless you explicitly decide to share them.

However, you can always contact us afterward and request this information be deleted.

If you use our cloud storage, apart from your own device(s), your files will be stored on our servers within Amazon Web Services, the largest cloud service provider globally. AWS is used by 80% of the Fortune 500 companies and has the same security standards as military and global banks.

You can restrict access to the entire app or particular files or folders. If you share a protected file with another person, they will need to enter a PIN code to open the file.
